Jerzy Płażewski, Historia filmu, Warszawa 2006 oraz podstawowa wiedza na temat wybranego okresu historii odpowiadającego tematyce stosownego tytułu filmowego. Konkretne pozycje odnoszące się do poszczególnych tematów będą podawane sukcesywnie na zajęciach.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	(in Polish) Przede wszystkim obecność. Na zakończenie forma sprawdzenia wiedzy w postaci zindywidualizowanych pytań wysyłanych e-mailem o ustalonej porze z określonym terminem zwrotu. Po wysłuchaniu wykładu student powinien mieć wystarczająco wyczuloną percepcję, by wychwytywać i rozpoznawać metody, chwyty i sposoby wpływania na odbiorców za pomocą środków wyrazu stosowanych w sztuce filmowej
