(tylko po angielsku) The goal of the course is to help each participant prepare a bachelor’s thesis devoted to measuring consumers’ preferences or applying non-market valuation methods. The course is oriented towards ambitious and motivated students. NOTE: If the participant cap has been reached and you are an ambitious and hard-working student willing to conduct bachelor’s research on the seminar’s topic, contact me. |

(tylko po angielsku) The course covers the following topics: - preparation, submission and grading of a bachelor’s thesis - structure of a bachelor’s thesis - data and literature sources - formulation and verification of research hypotheses - planning bachelor’s research - tools and guidelines for editing documents - basics on non-market valuation methods Depending on the participants’ interests, the course will follow selected topics related to measuring consumers’ preferences, choices revealing preferences, contingent valuation, travel cost method, econometric modelling of data on preferences, and experimental economics. |

Efekty uczenia się: |
(tylko po angielsku) The course helps a student prepare a bachelor’s thesis devoted to measuring consumers’ preferences or applying non-market valuation methods. Within the course, a student learns how to formulate research hypotheses and verify them, using theory- and/or empirics-based approaches. A student also gains basic knowledge on writing scientific papers. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
