  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

The objective of this course is to introduce the student to problems and practices involving international business. The course will discuss the forces which help to company behavior on the international markets as well as international business operations. The course will also cover financing and investing internationally. Learning methods will include lecture, problems, and presentations by practitioners, discussions of latest economic news based on articles in the Economist, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal or other internet sources. After completing this course the student should be able to analyze international environment and perform basic international trade operations, understand nature of international risks and finally understand the basics of direct and indirect investing abroad.

1.3 Detail the forces that drive globalization.

1.4 Outline the debate about globalization’s impact on jobs and wages.
