Basic principles and elements of environmental management. Key elements e.g.: - environmental management systems, - EIA and SEA, - Critical description of the investment, - Impact identification and presentation; EIA should effectively assist decision maker and other stakeholders in reaching consensus, - Mitigations measures, - Serious accidents. Students obtain: - knowledge of the basic elements and principles of environmental management, - the ability to understand and present selected elements of EIA reports. General information concerning environmental impact assessment or statement. They can also understand recommendations and decision connecting EIA and SEA tools. Students are ready to cooperate in groups come into being for preparation some key elements of EIA reports. |

Efekty uczenia się: |
Knowledge – a graduate knows and understands: - knows the tools of environmental management; - predicts the effects of human interference in the natural environment; - understands the place of environmental principles of sustainable development in social and economic life. Skills – a graduate can: - describe key elements of possible impacts, serious accidents and mitigation measures of selected investments; - presents the results of her/his work in public. Social competences – the graduate is ready to: - effectively communicates in speech and in writing in the field of environmental management; - improves her/his professional skills. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Projekt (35%), prezentacje (35%), ocena ciągła tj. punktualność i aktywność (15%) i kontrola obecności (15%). Dozwolona maksymalna liczba nieobecności studenta: 2. Więcej nieobecności można usprawiedliwić zgodnie z przepisami obowiązującymi na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, np. na podstawie zaświadczenia lekarskiego. Zaliczenie na ocenę. Poprawa zaliczenia na podstawie dodatkowej pracy wykonanej przez studenta. |
