Short description:	2 h Online workshop (kampus.uw.edu.pl) case analysis, analysis of regulatory documents, discussion of assigned readings
Full description:	The workshop accompanies lecture “Research Ethics - lecture” which is required for doctoral students of all Doctoral Schools. Contents: critical orientations I social sciences and the humanities; research project as an emancipatory process; Participatory Action Research; ethical problems of participatory research: informed consent and the right to withdraw from research, empowerment of research subjects, social change, the research team and collective production of knowledge, the vanishing difference between the researcher and the research participant, identification and overcoming relations of power. Intended audience: doctoral students conducting research involving non-specialists as researchers in the fields of social psychology, political science, economics, public health, organization studies, gender studies, migration studies, education, citizen science etc.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	in order to participate in the workshop attendance at “Research Ethics - lecture” lecture is required; attendance is required. credits are given on the basis of the final test covering the contents of “Research Ethics – lecture” and the reading materials; only those doctoral students who attended two workshops (2 hours each) will be allowed to attend the test and earn credits for the lecture (and the subject); the retake test is analogous to the final test final test covering the contents of “Research Ethics – lecture” as well as the required readings; assessment of activity in class knowledge of the knowledge provided in class, knowledge of the readings, activity in class
