(in Polish) Warunkiem uczestnictwa w zajęciach jest wypełnienie i podpisanie (podczas pierwszych zajęć) Deklaracji uczestnika/uczestniczki projektu i Oświadczenia uczestnika/uczestniczki projektu. Rezygnacja z udziału w zajęciach w trakcie ich trwania wiąże się ze zwrotem kosztów żetonów ZIP wykorzystanych do rejestracji na zajęcia.

Short description: (in Polish)

This course focuses on writing for academic purposes. Students will develop their writing skills by reading and discussing selected academic articles based on their areas of interest. They will also write a paper and peer review other students’ work.

Full description: (in Polish)

The course is addressed to PhD students seeking to improve their writing skills. The first part of the course will focus on characteristics of academic writing, including organization, coherence and cohesion, and engaging with sources. Next, students will learn about style and how to write clearly. Finally, students will learn how to write abstracts; they will also write, review, and submit an academic paper.
