Short description: |
Electronic laboratory R is a laboratory course, which concernc the basics of electronics and electronic measurement techniques. Classes are held once a week. A part of the course is a lecture on the basics of electronics, alternating with practical classes. |
Full description: |
Classes are held once a week and include alternately introductory lectures on the subject of exercises and laboratory exercises. The electronics laboratory program includes 5 thematic blocks: - passive electronic components, - semiconductor diodes, - transistors and transistor amplifiers, - logic circuits (digital electronics), - analog integrated circuits (in particular operational amplifiers, comparators, power supply circuits). The number of classes planned for individual topics are different due to their scope (each topic includes 1 to 3 laboratory classes and 1 or 2 lectures). |
Bibliography: |
- P. Horowitz, W. Hill, The art of electronics - Piotr Górecki, Wyprawy w świat elektroniki (all parts) - Piotr Górecki, Wzmacniacze operacyjne - Materials at elportal.pl, in particular the course "Tranzystory dla początkujących" |
Learning outcomes: |
After completing the course, the student: - can use diagnostic and measuring devices such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, generator, laboratory power supply, - can design and build a simple electronic circuit based on passive electronic components, - knows the basics of operation of semiconductor elements, - understands the operation of a transistor amplifier, - understands the principle of construction and operation of logic circuits, - can build a simple digital circuit, - can use the operational amplifier circuit. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Starting each exercise is possible after the student's preparation has been verified by the teacher. After the exercise is completed, a report should be prepared. The final grade for the Electronic laboratory R is issued on the basis of the grades from the tests concerning the material from the lectures and reports from the exercises (it is necessary to obtain a positive grade for each exercise). |
