Full description:

The Modeling of Complex Systems Seminar covers wide range of topics related to modeling of atoms and materials. Additionally, the goal is to acquainted the Students, PhD candidates and Young Researchers with modern tools of multiscale modeling and electronic structure calculations. It aims to present current research results from the international, national and local research communities. One of the goals of the seminar is to integrate the local broadly understood Theoreticians and Modeling of Complex Systems communities. At the same time, through the invited guests, we aim to present current research being investigated experimentally, that could inspire theoretical work.

Learning outcomes:

- ability to follow an advanced scientific presentation

- ability to participate in research related discussions

- awareness of current research trends in Complex Nanosystems and related disciplines

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

You are required to regularly attend the seminars to pass the Modeling of Complex Systems Seminar course.
