Type of course:

obligatory courses

Prerequisites (description):

The laboratory of radioactive elements chemistry serves to familiarize with the content presented during the lecture.

Mode:

Classroom

Short description:

The aim of the laboratory is to familiarize the student with selected chemical properties of radioactive elements.

Full description:

During the laboratory, students will synthesize compounds and separate selected radioactive elements. They will get acquainted with with the process of Tc(VII) reduction in a selected environment, U(VI) reduction. They will separate uranium from thorium.
