Language: | Polish |
Type of course: | obligatory courses |
Prerequisites (description): | Basic knowledge of physics on high-school level. |
Mode: | Classroom |
Short description: |
The purpose ot the lab is the familiarisation with fundamental physical laws and phenonomena through conducting measuments, analysing the obtained data and preparing a report of the conducted experiment. |
Full description: |
Each student learns the basics of the uncertainty calculus and on appointed dates prepares for measurements and executes them. The experiments relate to the following branches of physics: — mechanics, — electrodynamics, — DC and AC electric currents, — geometrical and wave optics, — physics of solids, — atomic physics. |
Bibliography: |
1. R. Resnick, D. Halliday Fizyka vol I 2. D. Halliday, R. Resnick Fizyka vol II and textbooks advised in the experiment manuals and on the online platform. |
Learning outcomes: |
Knowledge on basic laws of physics and measurement methods. The skill to analyse the results of the measurements, to apply the basic uncerainty calculus and to present the results in the form of a report. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Based on the knowledge of the unertainty calculus. Based on examinations (online and oral) before the start of the measurements and based on the report and final conversation held after the experiment. Scoring, grading and participiation criteria are detailed in the laboratory regulations. |
