Acquainting the students with:

-hazards which may occur at Chemistry Department;

-procedures of occupational safety at the Department;

-rules to be observed in Chemistry Department premises.

Full description:

Health and Safety at Higher Education Institutions: legal basis, duties of the Academy, students' duties, accidents during classes.

First premedical aid.

Hazards: substances and chemical preparations, noxious agents occuring at Chemistry Department.

Rules for safe work: health and safety during laboratory classes, procedures for work with substances and chemical preparations.

Fire protection: fire hazard, duties for fire prevention, basic extinguishing mediums, rules for raising alarms and evacuation.
