  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The internships are designed to verify the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their studies and to familiarize students with practical applications

Full description:

Students internship are to:

• expand the knowledge gained in college and develop skills,

• to familiarize students with the specificity of the professional environment,

• develop specific skills directly related to the place of training,

• develop skills to communicate effectively within an organization

• to learn organizational structure, principles of work of the division, gain competence, learn procedures, work planning and control,

• organization skills of their own work, teamwork, effective

time management, caution, responsibility for the undertaken tasks

• To improve professional foreign language skills

The internship can take place in economic units, administrative units state, local government, social institutions, education institutions, health, culture, research institutions and other organizational units

Learning outcomes:

The student, through the implementation of internship, gets acquainted with the specific professional environment. He will broaden his knowledge gained by studying the practical utilization of specific skills directly related to the place of training, effective communication skills . He will learn the structure of the organization, basics of its functioning and sharing the responsibilities, procedures, work planning process and its control.

In addition, the organization will improve the skills of their own work, team work, effective time management, responsibility for delegated tasks. Refine skills in professional use of foreign language.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

1. Assessment of the Internship outcomes will be done by Internship Supervisor on the basis of relevant documentation. (Certificate of completion of the Internship and the Official Internship)

2. Assessment of the practice will be done by Internship Supervisor on the basis of employment in the Company / Institution consistent with the profile of studies. Assessment requires the application form together with certificate confirming the student's employment and list of duties.

3. Assessment of the internship will be done by Internship Supervisor on the basis of the students own business Assessment requires the application form and documentation certifying the work undertaken.

4. Assessment of the Internship may be done by Internship Supervisor on the basis of other activities undertaken inside the university or even based on non-university activities. It requires submission of application form together with supporting documents proving the activities which allow to achieve the objectives of internship.

5. The condition of obtaining credit for the internship is the accomplishment of the goals of the specific program and submission of relevant certificate by the student.

6. The credit is given by the Supervisor in a form complying to the University rules.

7. Passing the Internship is necessary for passing semester VI of the first step of nuclear power engineering and nuclear chemistry studies.

Practical placement:

First-degree student has carry during the studies not less than three weeks of internship of 120 hours, for which he receives 4 credits.
