Mode: | Blended learning |
Short description: |
Getting practical knowledge concerning chemical properties of inorganic compounds and ions. Identification of selected ions in solutions and salts. |
Full description: |
The experimental introduction to different types of chemical equilibria in watery solutions is given, including acids and bases - weak and strong, buffers, solubility and complexation processes. Mixed systems: effect of acid/ bases and complexation on solubility. The second part of the course is showing application of above equilibria for ions identification purposes in watery solutions. In parallel, chemical properties of chosen anions and cations are experimentally verified |
