  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The aim of this seminar is to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for preparing oral presentations, including presentation and elaboration of experimental results and the literature data.

Full description:

The preparation of oral presentation, which includes student research update and literature reviews. The learning of IUPAC convention for chemical nomenclature. The emphasis is also put on the proper use of Polish language in the course of formal presentations.

Bibliography:

The students choose the literature according to the seminar topic.

Learning outcomes:

After completion of the course the student is able to prepare and deliver a lecture to the issues related to the thesis. The scope of the paper should include a literature review and objectives of the thesis. The student is able to plan such a paper not to exceed a limit of time.
