Short description:	Preliminary scientific research necessary for preparation of a master project.
Full description:	In the course of the laboratory students complete preliminary work connected with their Master project. This includes necessary experiments and computer simulations.
Bibliography:	The appropriate literature is given for each student individually by the supervisor of a Master project.
Learning outcomes:	Gaining an ability of completing a medium-size independent scientific project.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	The laboratory is graded by a supervisor of a Master thesis on the basis of criteria formerly agreed on by the student.
