  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

Participants of the seminar present the methodology, results of field and lab works and the part of the thesis that was prepared based on literature studies. During the last presentation the students discuss and present the conclusions of the thesis.

Full description:

The presentations shown by each student contain:

• analysis of contents from references related to the conducted topics of the thesis;

• results of individual fieldwork and lab research prepared in tables and / or graphs and diagrams

• documentary maps and preliminary analytical ma.

• thesis structure.

The students present these elements in form of multimedia presentation and / or graphical attachments prepared on paper.

Learning outcomes:

On completion of the course, the student:

- has the ability to present results of field studies,

- elaborates interpretations based on literature studies, results of individual field and lab research and observations,

- has the ability to assess the material and the degree of advancement of the prepared thesis.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Presentation of the thesis topics.

The evaluation of the presentations contain the assessment of:

- the extent and completeness of the conducted fieldwork

- the content and presentation of the results of individual field work and lab research

- activity and content of discussions on all speeches presented during the seminars.
