Short description:

Oral presentations of the student investigation results related to the subject of the master thesis, oral presentations based on the literature inquiry.

Full description:

Based on the scientific papers and books, students prepare the oral presentation on the subjects related to the investigation areas, methods, field and laboratory studies. Based on their own merits, students present own study results, discus them, give their own conclusions. They present their master thesis supplemented by the multimedia presentation.

Bibliography:

Individual choice depending on the topic of the Master Thesis. Each student sets a list of relevant references with the supervisor of the Master Thesis. Polish or English.

Learning outcomes:

The student improves the ability of conducting individual research, elaboration of results, using scientific references, writing of scientific texts, copy-editing, presenting study results.

Student can individually interpret results of analyses and critically assess different ideas; can efficiently use Polish and foreign references and critically assess their contents; can present research results and the existing knowledge based on Polish and foreign references using multimedia techniques.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

The student is graded by the supervisor of the Master Thesis based on the quality of the oral presentation and ability of the scientific discussion.
