Short description:

The course covers the discussion of issues related to the methodology of execution of works for the purposes of geological drilling and exploitation. Presented technical characteristics and intended use of various types of drilling rigs and drilling technology, carry out works in various ways. Methodology of preparation of technical project of boreholes are also discussed. Part of the course is designed to present the general principles of mining preparatory works and supplies, as the primary method of obtaining minerals.

Full description:

In the section on drilling lecture covers the following topics:

- Scope and possibilities of drilling and mining techniques in geological basic research, exploration and exploitation of mineral deposits, geological and engineering studies, research and exploitation of groundwater;

- Characteristics of drilling methods used in the diagnosis at the near surface geological research, reserve sites, hydrogeological and geological engineering;

- Manual drilling: tools, technology of drilling wells, sampling, failures, instrumentation;

- Drilling Hammer: patterns and principles of drilling rigs, equipment, technology of drilling wells, sampling, failures, instrumentation;

- Characteristics of the methods used for deep drilling exploration of geological and exploration hole;
