Ecosystems dependent on groundwater - protection, retention role, aspects of restoration and social conflicts (e.g. with owners of agricultural and industrial areas) - examples Impact of large retention reservoirs on groundwater, benefits and disadvantages of hydrotechnical damming structures in the context of hydrogeological, natural and social conditions - examples Technical retention solutions in urbanized and urban areas - rainwater management, increasing effective infiltration and renewability of groundwater, improving living conditions and comfort of residents - examples Counteracting the effects of drought in agricultural areas - good agricultural practices in the management of water resources, technical solutions, problems of managing drainage networks (ownership rights and management of devices according to the Water Law), riverbed retention and small retention - state policy and the actual situation (examples) Problems of drainage of mining excavations, their impact on hydrogeological conditions and surface waters, water reclamation of mining excavations - effects and consequences for the quality and quantity of water, examples Corrosion and scaling processes in deep hydrogeological wells - technological problems of the petroleum and geothermal industries Brines - possibilities of obtaining rare substances for the chemical industry, technical challenges and economic and environmental benefits |
