  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Prerequisites (description):

Knowledge of basic issues and problems of macroecology (ecological problems in global scale and ecological premises of nature conservation)

Short description:

variability and natural selection. Life strategies , conflicts, compromises, evolutional dillemmas. Optimalisation theory. Fragmentation of population, isolated populations,metapopulation. Interactions between individuals. Evolution of biotic interactions: coevolution, species-habitat interactions, ecological tolerance, ecological niche. Ecosystems and biocenosis. Trophic structure, productivity of ecosystems. Succession and ecological balance. Biodiversity and methods of its evaluation and protection. Its change in time and space. Ecological principles of environment protection.
