Full description:

The primary objective of the workshop is to provide knowledge and practical guidance on the preparation of basic research projects. Particular attention will be paid to grants for PhD students and young researchers, offered by the National Science Centre. During the classes, based on specific examples of funded grants, we will discuss the process from the idea through material collection, budgeting and the process of completing the application. The participants will be encouraged to share their experiences in the process of creating and implementing research grants and will have the opportunity to consult their own research ideas. The workshop is intended for advanced as well as beginners in planning and creating a research project. The assumption of the lecturer is to share several years of experience in the preparation and implementation of grants and above all to indicate potential problem areas and risks associated with creating a grant application.
