Short description:	The lectures present wide spectrum of problems related to the influence of geographical environment on human organism.
Full description:	The following topics will be discussed: Atmospheric stimuli Assessment methods of atmospheric stimuli intensity Heat and water balances of an organism in different environments. Climate and health; meteoropathy, weather impact on mortality and morbidity. Occupational bioclimate in urban and semiurban environments. Urban areas bioclimate improvement methods. Therapeutic features of climate. Bioclimatic impact on tourism, recreation and sport. Spatial differentiation of bioclimate in Poland. A part of the time is given over to students to present the newest bioclimatological publications.

Learning outcomes:	At the end of this course student: - defines the influence of atmospheric stimuli on human health and wellbeing as well as appoints bioclimatological methods of evaluation of their intensity - qualifies bioclimatic determinants of tourism, recreation and climatotherapy - distinguishes heath and water balances as well as correctly names its components - defines correctly the influence of urban bioclimate on humans - presents the newest trends and achivements in bioclimatology
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	The final grade is a sum of points gained for the student's presentation and final test (positve result is > 50% of points total).
