Short description:

Classes are devoted to present diversity of contemporary tourism and directions of its’ development.

Full description:

The scope of the lecture is to present examples of new, gaining its popularity forms of tourism and developing destinations. Various types of activities (eg. backpacking, volontary, MICE tourism), use of tourism values (eg. birdwatching, dark tourism) and destinations (eg. polar tourism, space tourism) are discussed.

The class is devoted to analisis of quantitative and qualitative data on selected problems. Reading, discussion and individual work will be followed by oral presentations.
