Student should know the specificity, identity and significance - historical and contemporary - of individual civilizations within the global South. The student should be able to indicate the characteristic features that determine the distinctiveness of individual civilizations. He should also be able to critically evaluate information and sources about political, cultural and economic situation in the global South.
