Prerequisites (description): | (in Polish) Celem zajęć jest zapoznanie studenta z politykami UE, a także przekazanie wiedzy na temat instrumentów oraz mechanizmów tworzenia i realizacji wybranych polityk UE. Omawiane na zajęciach polityki unijne są analizowane według następujących zagadnień: ogólna charakterystyka polityki, geneza i ewolucja, podstawa prawna, cele, zasady, instrumenty realizacji, proces decyzyjny, wyzwania i problemy w realizacji. Analizowane są wybrane polityki ponadnarodowe, kompetencji dzielonych oraz polityki, w których Unia tylko wspiera i uzupełnia działania państw członkowskich. |

The history of European integration proves that states decided to conduct more or less advanced forms of cooperation. Classes focus on discussing the policies of today's EU. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the assumptions of a given policy, methods of its implementation, and the effects of functioning. Many of the EU's policies not only concern the EU's internal affairs, but also have an external dimension, which is also the subject of classes. Classes are devoted to topics such as: 1.-2. Shaping EU policies in EU treaties 3. Common market and EY competition policy 4. Trade policy 5.-6. Agricultural policy 7.-8. Cohesion policy 9 Environmental policy 10. Energy and climate policy 11. Transport policy 12. Social policy 13. Employment policy 14. Education policy 15. Colloquium. |

After completing the course, the student: Knowledge: - knows the functioning of EU policies - understands the competences of the EU - knows the main problems related to the functioning of EU policies - has comprehensive knowledge of contemporary conditions for conducting EU policies Skills: - identifies key problems related to the functioning of EU policies - knows how to define and justify the interests of member states in conducting EU policies - can define the place and roles of the EU institutions in shaping EU policies Competences: - is prepared to work in institutions dealing with the issues of European integration - is aware of the changes taking place in the EU - can prepare and analyze a chosen research problem concerning EU policies S2_W06, S2_W07, S2_U04, S2_U05, S2_U06, S2_K01, S2_K02 |

(in Polish) Historia integracji europejskiej dowodzi, że państwa decydowały się na prowadzenie bardziej lub mniej zaawansowanych form współpracy. Zajęcia koncentrują się na omówieniu polityk dzisiejszej UE. Celem zajęć jest zapoznanie studentów z założeniami danej polityki, sposobami jej realizacji, efektami funkcjonowania. Wiele z polityk UE nie dotyczy tylko spraw wewnętrznych UE, ale ma także wymiar zewnętrzny, co również jest przedmiotem zajęć. Zajęcia poświęcone są takim tematom jak: 1. Kształtowanie się polityk UE w traktatach UE 2. Polityka wspólnego rynku 3. Polityka handlowa 4. Polityka rolna 5. Polityka spójności 6. Polityka transportowa 7. Polityka energetyczno-klimatyczna 8. Polityka współpracy na rzecz rozwoju i pomocy humanitarnej 9. Polityka w ramach Unii Gospodarczo-Walutowej |
