  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

Theoretical achievements in the field of studies on Europeanization will be presented, especially theoretical findings, what in fact Europeanization is, what are its mechanisms, methods and dimensions. Then, selected empirical examples of Europeanization that we deal with in the political, economic and international dimensions will be presented.

1) Knowledge: the student should know the definitions, components, types, mechanisms, methods and trajectories of Europeanization; should know what Europeanization looks like in practice, i.e. how it works, why and with what consequences in relation to political parties, democratization processes in Central Europe, structural policy in Poland, management of rural areas, low-emission economy, management of the euro area, EU strategy for the region The Baltic Sea, the European Neighborhood Policy

2) Skills: the student should be able to explain, using the theory, specific cases of Europeanization in the field of Europeanization of political parties, democratization processes in Central Europe, structural policy in Poland, management of rural areas, low-emission economy, management of the euro area, EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, European Neighborhood Policy
