Course goal: To provide students with knowledge and skills needed to design and provide programs for teaching adults. |

The goal of the classes is to acquire knowledge, skill and social competencies enabling them to create scenarios and independently conduct didactic classes in different forms with consideration to formulating and elaborating learning objectives and effects, selecting content, effective methods of didactic work with adults, application of didactic aids and evaluation principles. |

Learning outcomes: |
Knowledge: the student 1. is familiar with the basic terminology related to education of adults; 2. has knowledge in the scope of formulating and elaborating didactic goals and effects; 3. knows and understands the principles of educational content selection; 4. has the knowledge related to preparation and application of basic class evaluation tools; 5. knows basic methods in adult education. Skills: the student: 1. can independently prepare and conduct didactic classes in different forms integrating knowledge of different areas; 2. can create class scenarios; 3. can critically assess a class scenario listing its advantages and disadvantages; 4. can adequately select methods and aids in adult education; 5. can use the acquired skills while conducting classes. Social competencies: the student: 1. effectively cooperates in a team engaged in the process of preparation and evaluation of didactic activities; 2. can analyse different didactic situations and suggest optimal solutions. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Credit for the classes will be granted on the basis of attendance and completion of partial tasks. Two absences are permitted in one semester. |
