The goal of the module for the students is to acquire basic knowledge, skills and social competencies in the area of broadly understood competencies necessary in treiner’s work. During the classes students are acquainted with the basic issues related to the process of education management and the existing educational policy models within an organisation. They will become acquainted with the functioning of company-specific models of the training process and diagnosing educational services in Poland. Additionally, they will be given an opportunity to broaden their knowledge in the scope of designing a training process with consideration to evaluation methods and practical development of treiner skills. |

Knowledge The student 1. possesses interdisciplinary knowledge on the conditioning and functioning of an adult in educational situations 2. possesses structuralized knowledge on the training market in poland 3. possesses structuralized knowledge on the general principles of functioning of training institutions 4. knows the basic terminology related to the management of the learning process 5. possesses knowledge on the diagnostic methods and training needs 6. knows and understands the principles that determine the preparation of a training process 7. possesses knowledge on preparation and application of training evaluation tools 8. knows the basic models of learning policy within the organization 9. knows how to gather information and utilize it to design learning solutions in an organization 10. knows and understands the dimensions of the role of a trainer in an organization Skills The student: 1. is able to independently acquire knowledge that enables him to understand the functioning of adults in learning situations 2. is able to apply the process approach in managing learning in organization 3. is able to independently prepare and deliver a training process combining knowledge from different domains 4. is able to indicate forms of training organization adequate to training objectives 5. is able to critically assess the training program listing its benefits and downsides 6. is able to prepare a procedure of the execution of learning undertaking within an organization 7. is able to adequately select training evaluation tools 8. is able to formulate requirements for the training offering 9. is able to assess the level of training competencies in others 10. is able to utilize the acquired competencies during workshop or training Social competencies The student 1. effectively cooperates within a team of people involved in the process of preparation, delivery and evaluation of training activities 2. has a sense of responsibility for the delivered organizational and diagnostic processes relating to the preparation, delivery and evaluation of the training activities 3. is able to analyze unusual situations occurring during the training work and propose optimal solutions |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Students will be able to go for the module exam upon successfully passing all the courses within the module. Credit for the module will be granted on the basis of a class scenario prepared by the student for 8 hours of didactic classes for adults and a multimedia presentation related to the subject of the development of personal and social competencies. The exam will be conducted as a conversation on the topic of the student-prepared work. |
