Short description:

The subject of the course is the issue of working with the social environment to support the development and integration of people with disabilities and their families. The aim is to provide students with basic knowledge about the use and organization of the environmental support system.

Full description:

Students will learn about issues related to social environment and environmental work and their role in planning activities for the benefit of people with disabilities and their families. Classic and contemporary concepts of environmental work will be presented. The analysis will cover various forms and methods of work by and with the environment. Students will learn about selected institutions supporting disabled people and their families in a social environment.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

- attendance and active participation in classes (2 absences are allowed)

- learning diaries (grade: pass or fail)
