Prerequisites (description):

The lecture discusses the changes in the relationship: the contemporary world - pedagogy - education - environment. It shows socio-educational impact of social contexts, seen in global, local and individual perspectives, the consequences and the need to adapt to new conditions of education.

Short description:

. Modern environmental of education in the liquid in (post)modernity where there are dynamic structures, variables, scattered, occasional, which generate diverse range of moral, cultural, ideological influences.

2. Modern man is a "mobile man " "man with no place", "consumer of instant culture," "wanderer", "vagabond", or "trash man"

 

3. Modern education must be well oriented in these transformations of today's world, its dynamics, distinctive features and functions.

Full description:

1. Pedagogy is a discourse of ideas, concepts, theories and educational practices. Nowadays in education there was a "shift socialization" - the intentional influences (including school) for the impact of socialization different kinds of social actors, cultural, pop culture and autosocjalizacyjnych (eg. Peer groups, Internet) (B. Śliwerski). In the broader field of education and upbringing postmodern world they are also present and pseudo pseudoautorytety. Unintentional, socialization influences arise from different sources, are dynamic, distributed, difficult to grasp, observation and evaluation. On the one hand, positively they impinge on the development of children and youth, on the other - lead to the development of dysfunction, difficulty upbringing and education, and social maladjustment.

2. It is necessary basic understanding of phenomena and processes of socialization of the modern world. It is an inalienable part of the intellectual equipment of a student of pedagogy, as well as the optimal condition for the functioning of the future role of the teacher.

3. The purpose of the lecture is to provide basic knowledge about the complex reality of educational postmodern world. The lecture focuses on the issue of changes in the relationship: education - education - the world of new environments and the consequences flowing from here to the modern pedagogy and educational practice.

Learning outcomes:

- Knowledge of basic socio-cultural context of education and socialization of processes.

- Recognize relationships (interdependence) between the post-modern world and pedagogy and education.

- Basic ability to analyze education in the socio-cultural context

- Skills of practical use of knowledge about the social determinants of education to the development and improvement of the observer's own workshop and practice.
