Prerequisites (description):

The aim of the classes is to introduce students to problems of media society, cyber environment, computer-mediated communication, new media art and its impact on modern humans and how social forces influence the media and how media potentially affect society

Short description:

The increasing role of media in the modern world affects functioning of human in society, the process of interpersonal communication, building relationships with other people. During the course we will analyze phenomena such as media society, computer-mediated communication, personality shaped by media, virtual community, cyberculture and etc.
