Short description:

The course is designed to prepare substantive, methodological and interpersonal students to perform professional school counselor. Course program includes introduction to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of some of the problems of education.

Full description:

In the main part of the course students will be teaching other group members on the chosen educational topic in simulated environments.

Basic topics (distance education):

• characteristics of the profession, working conditions, required qualifications, documentation teacher education institution;

• learning difficulties – an efficiency aspect (memory, processing and selection of information, directing the attention, planning and monitoring of the learning process);

• learning difficulties – a motivation and the personal aspect (motivation in learning, stress and the failure of education, learning strategies);

• learning difficulties – a organization aspect (set goals, plan and control the learning process).
