Short description:

The course aims to systematize the concepts and ideas associated with the preparation of training programs: diagnosis of educational needs, curriculum design, control of learning outcomes. Students learn advanced concepts for selection of learning content, technical equipment, teaching methods and organization of teaching. Prepare a draft curriculum that will be used in schools or other institutions engaged in educational tasks.

Full description:

Student will update the knowledge of the diagnosis of learning needs, create learning objectives and monitoring outcomes. Learn to prepare a map of the knowledge and skills related to the projected skills, work out a list of learning objectives, prepare lesson materials, develop organizational forms and methods of instruction, perform a simulation implementation of elements of the program prepared. An integral part of the course is a workshop during which students prepare their own lesson cycle programs or classes on issues of their choice.

Learning outcomes:

The student will have an updated knowledge of general didactics. Perform exercises in preparation for the preparation of training programs. Prepare an educational program - a general description of the program and a few records of detailed lesson plans.

Attendance at classes. Preparing for classes and class participation. Rating prepared an educational program.
