Prerequisites (description):

The aim of the course is the presentation and critical analysis of the methods and forms of acquiring, collecting, analyzing and structuring the processing and use of information from different fields of knowledge.

Short description:

As part of the course, students plan and carry out educational projects in groups, in line with the chosen theme. Content projects are focused on specific topics in the field of botany, zoology, physics, chemistry, geography, etc.

Full description:

The aim of the course is the presentation and critical analysis of the methods and forms of acquiring, collecting, analyzing and structuring the processing and use of information from different fields of knowledge, including the use of multimedia. As part of the course, students use a variety of learning methods of individual and group. Students plan and implement of educational projects in groups, in line with the chosen theme. Content projects are focused on specific topics in the field of botany, zoology, physics, chemistry, geography, etc. The classes end with presentations of the results of the work carried out within the project group.

 student knows selected methods and forms of acquiring, collecting, analyzing and structuring the processing and use of information from different fields of knowledge

 know the nature and structure of the educational project

 gets news on selected issues such areas of expertise, such as botany, zoology, physics, chemistry, geography, etc.

Skills:

 student searches for, selects, evaluates, and uses information from a variety of sources

 selected learning methods in accordance with the established order and the chosen field of knowledge

 knowingly organizes the process of teaching and learning using ICT

 takes an active part in the discussions for the planning of the project activities and negotiate meanings education gained in the course of its implementation

 developing written materials and a summary of public education project implemented, respecting the principles of protection of copyright

Social competence:

 student understands the need for learning throughout life

 able to interact and work in a group, taking on the different roles
