Short description:

Interaction design takes into account various angles through which users perceive products, services and processes; utilising those to improve accessibility and usability. During the course, participants will learn the most important methods and tools used in interaction design and interaction design research. Students will go through all stages of the design process - from problem-solving, the user needs analysis, market validation, to prototyping and testing solutions.

Learning outcomes:

Knowledge:

• student knows the basic interaction design and testing methods (K_W12)

• student has knowledge regarding the role of affect in designing products and services (K_W09)

• student knows the basic mechanisms od social functioning (K_W10)

Skills:

• student is able to design and conduct a collaborative UX research project (K_U05)

• student knows how to communicate the results of empirical studies in written and oral form (K_U06)

Social competence:

• student is able to use her/his knowledge to develop innovative projects and services (K_U06)

• student knows how to be a team player (K_K05)

• student is able to participate in project in a constructive way, listen to and pay attention to other users, and respect the views of other people (K_K06)
