Short description: |
Aim of the seminar is to provide students with knowledge and clinical skills required for the goals of neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients with brain dysfunctions. |
Learning outcomes: |
Knowledge of on the main problems of regarding neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation. Knowledge of legal, ethical and cross-cultural issues in clinical neuropsychology. Developing skills and competences to plan and conduct neuropsychological assessment and diagnosis as well as plan rehabilitation program for a person with neuropsychological disorders. |

Full description: |
The goal of the seminar is to familiarize the students with the issues of assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of brain dysfunctional patients in clinical neuropsychology. The students will learn about the basic concepts and main problems related to assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation in clinical neuropsychology. They get know clinical populations involved, areas of disorders requiring neuropsychological evaluation and intervention, classical and novel approaches and techniques in neuropsychological examination and therapy, ethical, law and cross- cultural issues. The students will also discuss the above problems in the context of case studies of brain damage patients. |
