  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The aim of this course is for students to become more aware of their own competences as well as preferences, the options available for psychology graduates and to work on skills that would help them develop and pursue a career path for themselves. In addition, students will be informed about the detailed content and organization of the specializations offered at WISP.

Full description:

To realize the two main aims of the course mentioned above, factual information is required as well as self-reflection.

The work field in which psychology graduates can be potentially employed will be presented by professionals from various sectors.

The question of which career path fits to a particular individual to a large extent depends on personal characteristics. Students will explore these for themselves.

During the self-explorative process the participants will have the opportunity to deepen their self-awareness of their skills and preferences, gain insight about their strengths and areas they would like to develop. The aim of this process is for each participant is to have a clearer understanding of what direction they would like to choose and what steps they need to take next.
