Short description:	The aim of the course is development of basic skills of diagnosis in the area of non-standarized methods: interview, observation, projective tests (TAT). Students learn how to use this methods and analize data. The important part of the course is focused on the relation with the subject.
Full description:	Students will learn how to use two non-standardize tool (the most often use in practice): TAT-test and free psychological interview. They also will be familiar with some other technics as Rotter’s SCT, CAT, “Scenotest”, “Nagusek”, family drawing etc.). Each student will be expected to proceed full diagnostic procedure with one subject. It means: to establish appropriate contact, to negotiate contract, to realize TAT-test and to analyze the material, to prepare interview frame, to conduct the interview and to analyze all obtained information, and also to provide subject with adequate, constructive feedback. On that basis each student will prepare three analyzes in a written form: TAT analysis, interview analysis and summary of them – the diagnosis.

Learning outcomes:	KNOWLEDGE - what are non-standardized diagnostic tools, its advantages and disadvantages, - how to use projective technics in a diagnostic process - what are the assumptions and methods of the semantic text analysis SKILLS -establishing an appropriate contact with a subject -contract for the diagnostic procedure -proceeding the TAT-test -text analysis of the TAT-test (narrative macrostructure) -proceeding free psychological interview -analysis of the interview and TAT data -constructive feedback after the whole procedure
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	- attendance (allowed 2 absences). In a case of more the 2 absences, the student can ask for an additional task to realize - realization of diagnostic procedure, documentation (recording and transcription), analysis of TAT material and interview, summary of all diagnostic procedure (including the last feedback meeting) - semester rating is an average of ratings of every tasks timely completed. Analyzes completed before deadline can be corrected by a student. In justified cases, analyzes completed after deadline can be accepted, but rated only at a minimum.
