ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	4.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:	Primary purpose is to present the range of contemporary ethical issues in psychology. Regardless od one's training speciality or the work setting, ethical dilemmas will arise and action decision must be made. By providing an awareness of ethical standards of the profession, and by revealing how they apply to specific situations, I hope to achive a useful and practical guide for the future professional psychologists.

Full description:	The aim of the course is to familiarize students with ethical problems that arise in modern psychology. Regardless of the completed specialization and from the place where the profession is performed - ethical dilemmas will appear, and the psychologist will have to make related decisions. The lecture aims to familiarize students with ethical standards in psychology and to identify their uses in specific professional situations. The information contained in the lecture is intended to be a kind of guide to help future psychologists solve the ethical problems they encounter.
