Full description: |
During the course, students will have the opportunity to learn about the concept of executive functions (EF) understood as an indispensable and integral factor of motor, cognitive and emotional functions, enabling the correct course and synthesis of any conscious and deliberate actions. Models of executive functions and their disorders in humans will be presented, but also, and perhaps above all, their occurrence in various animal species (e.g. gibbons, sheep, dogs). During the course, the development, assessment methods and possibilities of exercising executive functions in animals will be discussed. The next block of classes will be devoted to the phenomenon of the influence of human-animal interactions on the development of executive functions in children and adults. |
