Short description:

Conditions of horses 'survival in the natural environment, functioning of the horses' sensory organs, behavior of horses in a stable and on a pasture, behavior during play and learning, methods of communication with horses.

Learning outcomes:

In terms of knowledge: The understanding of the basic ethology of the horse, learning processes in relation to training, proper maintenance and use of horses. Knowledge of safety rules, issues related to the welfare of horses applicable during working from the ground and riding.

In terms of skills: Prepares and properly handles the horse from the ground, following the applicable safety rules. Recognizes body language and correctly interprets the signals sent by the horse. Conducts a behavioral survey with the horse keeper.

In terms of social competence: Demonstrates care for the well-being of horses and the safety of people staying with horses. He is focused on constantly improving his knowledge of horses. Is aware of the need to comply with the principles of health and safety at work.
