Short description:

The subject covers the basics of psychological diagnostics using standard psychometric methods. Basic requirements for psychological tests; the concept of reliability and validity of a test measurement and a method of estimating the reliability and validity of a measurement. Basics of constructing psychometric tools: Selected elements of the test construction procedure, factors disturbing test results; basic problems and strategies of test adaptation. The specificity of the observational scales of animal behavior and the specificity of test tools designed to measure the human-animal relationship.
