Short description:	Review of equestrian disciplines. Behavioral problems of riding horses.Training methods used in horse riding. Effectiveness of training methods in horsemanship. Analysis of selected methods and problems in horse training.
Learning outcomes:	In terms of knowledge: The student is familiar with the specifics of individual horse training methods (sport horses, driving horses, recreational horses, natural riding horses). The student has basic knowledge about the psychology of horse training, forms of learning, training methods and the specifics of the species. In terms of skills: The student has the basic ability to assess the horse training level, especially in the behavioral context. The student is able to use the knowledge of the theory of learning to analyze the behavior and select appropriate methods of working with the horse. In terms of social competences: The student, using the acquired knowledge and skills, engages in activities aimed at improving the welfare of horses used in equestrianism and promoting this knowledge in the equestrian community.

Full description:	The topics of the lectures are the most important information in the field of horse training. It covers the characteristics of individual forms of horse use in the historical aspect and contemporary problems of horse use, with particular emphasis on the behavioral characteristics of these animals.
