Description:

Topics:

- physical, motoric and sexual development of a human being;

- selected systems, functions, and physiological reactions of a human body;

- a concept of health and its determinants;

- the most often disorders and illnesses, their influence on development.

Competencies to be gained:

- identification of own problems as well as development and health needs in early adulthood;

- understanding of biological needs of children and youth.

Biological development of a human being:

- spheres and stages of development;

- physical and motoric development (determinants, tendencies, disorders);

- sexual development (stages, determinants, sexual behaviors, disorders and problems);

- selected systems and functions of a body, important for learning processes (neurological system, eyesight, hearing);

- health and selected health problems.

- apply theoretical knowledge of pedagogy and psychology to diagnose, analyse, and forecast pedagogical situation, as well as to develop a strategy of education on the following stages;

- learn and develop his/her professional pedagogical skills (teaching, upbringing, caring), using different resources and new technologies.

ATTITUDES:

A student can:

- work and cooperate in a group,

- define priorities for realisation of a task (defined independently of by the other).

- participation in clases - each absence has to be passed in an agreed form;

- active participation in discussions;
