Short description:

The main goal of this class is to familiarize with animation activities of various cultural institutions for children. Main focus will be on projects.

Full description:

Clarifying and discussing concepts such as: culture, animation, cultural education, cultural animation. An attempt will be made to determine the characteristics of a good cultural animator.

Based on current research about children and own observation the needs of this group will be defined as well as areas for improvement.

Students will be introduced to activating methods, with particular attention to the project.

Animation activities proposed by various cultural institutions, especially from the third sector, will be discussed and individual project ideas will be proposed.

Is able to carry out a critical analysis and interpretation of institutions, facilities and information services, taking into account the specific needs and conditions of the environment they support, with using a creative and original method of assessing their significance and impact in the historical and cultural process (K_U03)

Can organize and plan individual work and work in a team (K_U07)

Inspires, teaches other people, plans their development in the field of information competence (K_U10)

Social competence:

He is ready to conduct a critical assessment of educational forms proposed by cultural institutions in Poland (K_K01)

Participates in cultural life, especially the use of libraries or other cultural institutions (K_K05)
