To the students will be presented the theoretical basis and practical ways of the self-development, particularly in the area of social skills as well as the organizational. |

In the theoretical part (introductory) are covered the following issues (topics): 1. Definitions of coaching and mentoring as well as their generic division 2. Stages (phases), the emergence of coaching and mentoring 3. Unit / group and the change in the perspective of working life 4. Principle of 5 CH (chance, choice, change, challange, chaos) 5. Proficient interpersonal communication as the foundation of coaching and mentoring In the practical part will be the following: 1. Ability to assess their own strengths and weaknesses (the source of knowledge about himself) 2. Construction of the future working life scenarios 3. Ability to build relationships both internal and external 4. Techniques of creative thinking 5. Assertiveness training 6. Management and decision-making games 7. Methods for environment analysis 8. Organizational activities techniques |

Learning outcomes: |
As a result of participation - the student: • understands the essence of coaching and mentoring concepts and knows the mechanisms of their functioning • knows personality development tools and tools of building social skills • Uses the techniques of self-esteem development and self-improvement, can build a relationship with the environment • Earns some environmental analysis skills i.e. creative thinking, he can use techniques for enhancing assertiveness • sees and examines his working life in the perspective of volatility and turbulence • Earns a strong basis for further self-development |

Final Score is based on the activity of practical training and a written test of theoretical issues knowledge (from the subject theoretical introduction) Lecture attandance is scored |
