  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the support of CMS-s on the example of Wordpress and the basics of web navigation

Full description:

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with CMS-s. The base - Wordpress and the basics of navigation of websites, including: history of CMS, CMS structure, creating a website using CMS (Wordpress), download, install and configure script, publishing and editing content SEO, adding and deleting users, integration CMS with social media (Facebook, Twitter).

Students will have knowledge about the history, construction, types and functions of the CMS, and the possibility of its use in conjunction with social media.

Elements of the students ability:

Students will have the skills to install, configure, and use the CMS. How to use SEO , add and delete users, integrate social media with CMS (Facebook, Twitter).

Elements from the other competencies (attitudes):

Students have the competence to understand the ideas associated with social media and open source software. They can understand and implement projects in the spirit of Web 2.0.

Credit on the basis of the self-installation and running CMS (Wordpress).
