  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The aim of the course is to present the objectives, tasks and problems associated with the broader arts education conducted in the institutions of culture, art schools, including libraries.

Full description:

The course aims to confront current tasks in the field of art education with the objectives contained in the documents defining the areas of active use; analysis of the current legislation in relation to broader cultural, artistic activities and education. Discussed are the links that existed between the tasks of artistic education, and leading objectives of artistic institutions including libraries, cultural centers, museums, clubs. Particular attention is paid to the tasks of libraries resulting from the amendment of the Law on conducting cultural activities - including libraries. Classes also show the importance and role of artistic text in the pedagogical work in the dissemination and promotion of culture institutions. It takes into account the diversity of its implementation in working with the reader, student and user of culture.
