Full description:

The course in history of Bohemia is intended as specialized completion of the lecture General History – Bohemia and Slovakia. It is devoted to analysis of source texts and academic commentaries concerning selected questions in history of politics, society and religion in the Bohemian territories, from the beginnings of the Czech nation to the present day.

The course aims at developing skills in analytical, critical and contextual reading of source texts, formulating interpretations of their content and synthetic comprehension of information included therein.
