Short description:	The course introduces students to Greek papyrology. Its principal aim is to develop the skills necessary to read and interpret papyrological texts. The students will read some documents (in Greek and in modern translation) and will investigate historical issues to which the papyri have much to contribute (ancient economy, education, etc.).

Learning outcomes:	(in Polish) Uczestnik zajęć zyska podstawową wiedzę o dokumentach papirusowych, ich rodzajach, sposobie sporządzania etc. Zrozumie funkcjonowanie dokumentów w kontekście społecznym. Pozna rolę dokumentów w kształtowaniu naszych interpretacji historycznych.
